"In other words I'm attempting to put the humanity back into the human form"

How is PBTB anything different from what's already been done?

Photography to me is more than just taking pictures of people and places but rather capturing an "artistic truth", something that can enforce a message other than what is right in front of you. The impact of clothing versus nude photos is not a new fascination. (ie My Inspirations) Taking it to the next level, attaching not only a specific Bay Area element but also a more potent statement on how clothes dictate our humanity is what makes it novel. Most importantly we must remove the constraints of this status quo version, one person, front pose, lack of any emotion; that needs to come to a crashing halt. It's unnatural, that's always dumbfounded me.. an unnatural nude pose but that's exactly what they've been. In other words I'm attempting to put the humanity back into the human form. With this project and the contributions of people like you I believe one day we can go beyond just "body acceptance activists" but rather dismantle the stigma that comes with the naked human body. It's NOT evil, pornographic, necessarily sexual in nature, rated R, unnatural (again) or wrong. If anything it's the exact opposite of all these things, something to behold and admire, nothing to be ashamed of, nothing to hide. To the people of the bay, let's show the world just how beautiful we are underneath it all. Let's hope that we can unite in our nakedness because no matter what guise you wear we are all of the same flesh and blood. Naked, we have no affiliations but that to each other, the way it should be. I hope to spread this message across the globe, what better place to start than the San Francisco Bay Area.

 About The Author:

His creativity stems from his early childhood. While teachers would give instruction on how to do an art project and all his other classmates would attempt their best imitation, he always chose to do it his own way. For two consecutive years he won the all too promising "most creative" award.  Joseph has rediscovered the best aspects of himself and has reacquainted himself with what comes naturally, creativity and originality. Just how most things in life are more than meets the eye, so is it his goal for any project he pursues.

If you feel you have a similar take on life, you've come to the right place. Let's make something beautiful!
